Parents and Friends,
A few pictures are up! Sorry it has taken so long, we seemed to be fought at every point on the pictures! First, we didn’t have internet, then I was sick, and now my camera is out of commission (at least until we return to the U.S.). We are getting pictures from the team, and slowly uploading them (the internet is such a blessing here, but it is dreadfully slow). Thank you for your comments and prayers! They are such an encouragement to both the leadership and the team! Please continue in both! Things are going so well here in Matucana. Ryan Parsons and his team (Derek, Nick, and Liz) are in the upper mountains with several of our translators ministering to a few tribes there. They will be there for at least another day. For those of us still in Matucana, things are going well! Yesterday, Matt’s team (Brittany, Lexi N., Jessie, and Matt Brown) got the chance to minister to the local church in a practical way by scraping paint off of the building in preparation for painting. They did an excellent job, and were sad when we had to leave for dinner. Pam’s team (Tyler, Justin, Holly, Lexi V.) was able to go and help out on a farm for a few hours, and then able to share the gospel with the group! Lena and Tony’s Team (Caleb, Natalie, Allyson) team helped out around the town and was able to meet and talk with several locals and share with them! God is truly doing great things here in Peru, and it is because of your prayers and support, and your students obedience to go! I apologize for pictures not being up last night, I (Matt Pritchett) was under the weather for a few hours last evening. Please continue to check for them today.

We hope that you are well! Things are going great here in Matucana! With each hour it seems we have more incredible stories to tell! The team is currently hiking to a beautiful waterfall in order to do biblestudy, and then clean up the trail on the way down. Today’s ministry also included such things as ministering in schools, prayer walking, and even a discussion with a local catholic professor! Tonight we have been given an incredible opportunity to bless our Peruvian Brothers and Sisters through preparing and decorating for a surprise birthday party for a church member! Your students are awesome, parents! They have been such an inspiration and blessing to not only the locals, but the leadership team as well! Pictures should be up by tonight! Continue to lift us up!

greetings from lovely matucana. my team just taught a classroom of 6th graders a class on parasites and wshing their hands and brushing their teeth, charged with teaching the wash your hands song to the younger grades. we met with hospital officials and handed over some approx 500 toothbrushes. <they promised to distribute them to the poor satellite clinics in the surrounding villages. We ar having fun thanks for the prayers.

I love love love this place! We got to go to a school this morning with tons of adorable little kids, and I was even able to speak to them! i´ve been taking tons of pictures of this amazing place. i am completely astounded by the beauty of God´s creation. I´m growing closer to the group, to God, and definitely improving my Spanish! I love you guys a lot! continue praying for us and the people here! te amo mucho!! love, allyson (Esperanza) 
We arrived in Matucana yesterday and its great really pretty. im doing okay i few head aches and dizziness now and again but im fine. i miss everyone at home. send my love.

I miss you guys but I absolutely love it here! The mountains are amazing and I am just in awe right now. The village is too cute and the people have been pretty welcoming and nice! I got a coloring book from a lady I got to talk to this morning . My roomie is Allyson , were gonna have a blast together! I just cant emphasis how beautiful it is here or how spoiled our pets our! I never realized just how good our dogs have it! Although im glad Gingy i s as rotten as she is! The dogs are nice here but no worries I keep my distance! I love you mom and dad and hope all is well back home! =) -Lex
hey! second day in peru! last night we went to church and i didnt understand any of it lol but thats okay because it was amazing!!! then we got to go learn some peruvian traditional dance!! which was like zumba in the united states! super great! then we had dinner which there food is a tad odd! but everyone is so not ever in a hurry which so different from america because thats all we do is rush! I also miss mom and dad as well!! On the bright side i learned a spanish pharses tu eres muy linda!!! which joel helps me with even though i mess his name up everytime! but he doesnt care!!! which is good!! our hostels are nice! but i have a room to myself which is boring! but its cool!!!

So this is going fantastic! Matucana is so ridiculously awesome, it is way different than the states. The culture is so chill, no one seems to be in a rush everyone seems to be just enjoying life, and trying to make a few sols´. I actually just got done telling this guy about Jesus, unfortunately he didn´t accept Jesus but I planted the seed in him which is totally cool. I think he just listened so that way, if he listens what I have to say, maybe I will buy something from him, but i told him I didnt ave any money with me. Our translators are super cool, they are doing a great job, Joel, Elsa, Jason, Kayla, and Solomon. Everyone on our team is doing great I think we are all enjoying ourselves. I cant wait to see what God has in store for the rest of the time we have here, I am positive it will be amazing!
hey guys mom, dad, and kayleigh and tyler. everything is great im having fun and the food is amazing. I miss you guys ill see you when i get back. The hostels are actually not that bad.
